Vassar welcomes freshmen at concert, September 2

A welcome concert for the Vassar College class of 2005, performed by Vassar music faculty, is scheduled at 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, in Skinner Hall. The concert is free of charge and open to the public.

Vassar College is a highly selective, coeducational, independent, residential liberal arts college founded in 1861. Vassar was featured in the Kaplan/Newsweek "How to Get Into College Guide 2002″ as a "hot school" due to it's interdisciplinary learning environment, its proximity to New York City, and a 40% increase in applications over the past five years.
