Vassar College Choir
The Vassar College Choir is an auditioned mixed choral ensemble of approximately fifty singers. Repertoire has included a cappella and accompanied works from the Renaissance to the 20th century, as well as major works for orchestra including Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, and Mozart's Requiem.

Vassar College Women’s Chorus
The Vassar Women's Chorus is an auditioned ensemble that was formed in the fall of 1997. The group has revived a tradition from Vassar's past in the context of Vassar's present co-educational mission. Repertoire includes a cappella and accompanied works from the Renaissance to the 20th century. This ensemble is open to all Vassar women by audition.

Madrigal Singers
The Vassar Madrigal Singers is a select ensemble of twelve to twenty voices that specializes in works for chamber choir and more difficult works from the twentieth century. To audition, singers in their freshman or sophomore years must first be a member of one of the two larger choirs, the Vassar College Choir or the Vassar Women's Chorus; a high level of commitment is required.

Opera Workshop
Vassar Opera Workshop is a semester-long project of a staged opera or scenes, concentrating on role preparation both from the musical and acting points of view. Auditions are held in the fall, and notices are given to all the voice teachers in advance of the auditions. In alternate years, the workshop will dedicate itself to the study of preparing an opera role, including but not limited to historical and stylistic concerns, various approaches to diction and language, and movement techniques.
