Peter Tomlinson holds a BFA from SUNY New Paltz and has studied jazz piano with several well known jazz artists. He has been associate professor of jazz piano at Western Connecticut State Univ. since 1990 and began teaching jazz piano at Vassar College in 2006. Peter also directs band programs at several local schools.
Peter has played and recorded with Jimmy Cobb, Ron Carter and singer Natalie Merchant among many others. In 2007 he recorded with singer/songwriter Bar Scott on "A Little Dream" which also features bassist/Vassar professor Lou Pappas.
